Programs and Events
The following are programs the PTA plans to offer for the 2011-2012
school year. Our goal is to offer our families many activities
throughout the school year. As you will see, many of these
Programs/Events are still OPEN. If you are interested in organizing or

These are activities for non-school hours that are focused on family
friendly fun. Extra help is always appreciated in identifying fun family
night activities throughout the community. This is a great volunteer
activity for working parents!
The PTA offers a variety of clubs sponsored by parent volunteers/community
members and classes taught by respected local companies. We hope you’ll take
this opportunity to introduce your child to a new academic area, a new
sport, a new skill and/or a new artistic experience. Classes are dependent
upon student registration to run.
The PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and
encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in
its annual arts Reflections Program.
This is one of the PTA's largest fundraisers of the year
and it helps to support our many programs and events, including our
assemblies, field trips, teacher enrichment grants, classroom supplies, and
much more!
This is wonderful, fun-filled annual event that provides
a great opportunity for LT staff and family to enjoy games, food,
refreshments and lots of happy faces.
The Book Fair happens twice a year (Fall & Spring). The
library is transformed into a magical book store filled with books and other
items just for kids. Students visit the fair during school hours to browse
and purchase items. Parents can also come in during posted hours. Many use
this as an opportunity to purchase gifts for the holidays, special occasions
or the chance to add a book to their child’s classroom library. (Proceeds
from the book fair are used to help support new books for our school

We appreciate all our teachers throughout the year, but
this a special week in May when we show them truly how much!
