In a continuing effort to enhance our children’s learning experience, the PTA is looking for volunteers who are willing to share their time and experience.

If interested in serving on a committee, please contact the chair listed. "Open" indicates a committee in need of a chair.

Committees require at least one chairperson and many volunteers. Some span the entire school year while others are for the event and you're done. If we've passed the event this year, consider chairing the event next year.

Chairpersons will send out requests for volunteers prior to the event. Watch the front page for signup genius links! Current volunteer needs will be listed below.

What is a London Towne ES PTA Room Parent?
A PTA Room Parent serves an important link between the PTA and parents in their child’s classroom. It is our goal to have Room Parent teams that will be comprised of two parents from each classroom and one Room Parent coordinator per grade.

What are PTA Room Parent Responsibilities/Duties?
The Room Parent will primarily help families learn about PTA events and if requested, assist the teacher in getting families involved in the class. You may be called upon from time to time, to enlist the assistance of other parents in your class for help in PTA or school activities. The teacher assigned duties encompassed in this role vary from teacher to teacher and grade to grade. The classroom teacher will contact you if he/she wishes to incorporate additional responsibilities.

VOLUNTEER & SHOP: Fall Book Fair Oct. 15-19

Fall Book Fair 2018

October 15-19, 2018

From Oct. 15-19, the library will be transformed into a magical book store filled with books and other items. Students will be able to visit the fair during school hours to browse and purchase items. Parents can also come in during posted hours.

Many use this as an opportunity to purchase gifts, special occasions or the chance to add a book to their child’s classroom library. 100% of the profits from the book fair are used to help support new books for our school library.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed every day at the Book Fair, as well as for set up on Friday, Oct. 12 and clean up on Monday, Oct. 22.
