LTES Parents!

Happy New Year! Can you believe it is already second semester? Where did the time go? I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Please continue to support our efforts to promote community involvement within the school by joining the PTA, volunteering, and by supporting PTA programs, fundraising, and activities.

We need your support and look forward to your company.

PTA MEMBERSHIP: Our membership challenge is still on! The first class in each grade level that achieves 100% participation will win their child's class a FREE PIZZA PARTY! Now, more than ever, we need your membership dollars! By joining the PTA you are supporting every LTES student by encouraging parental involvement, enhancing student enrichment, and most of all you are FUNDING all of our amazing programs. In order to stay on target with our programs we must raise the funds!

Visit our Volunteer page to view the varied list of opportunities to get involved in the school—this is one of many ways to show your support for your child's education! You can also contact Tracey MacNamara. We are still in need of PTA Room Parents for EVERY class.

  • PTA MEETING
    January 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the LT Library. Kathy Smith, Sully District FCPS school board rep., will be our guest speaker. She will be discussing the school budget situation. Please come out and show your support of the issues that affect your family and our school.
  • YEARBOOK
    Yearbook – Please send all school related pictures (i.e. field trips, assemblies, classroom activities, etc.) by the beginning of March.
  • MOVIE NIGHT
    January 22 at 7 p.m. We will be showing the movie “UP” to K-2 grades only. No student may attend without a parent. Come enjoy popcorn, food, a movie, and FUN!
  • MLK CELEBRATION
    The Chantilly Pyramid Minority Student Achievement Committee (CPMSAC) presents the 16th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Festival on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 4:00PM (Snow Makeup- Sunday, January 24, 2010) in the Westfield High School Auditorium
